Mark Dieler is a German-Italian creative producer, cultural networker and events professional based in Sicily. Working internationally since 1998, he has spent more than a decade living and working across Africa, developing projects at the intersection of music, hospitality, events and social change.
With a background rooted in activism and cultural development, Mark has worked with underground and established artists, venues and organisations across Europe and Africa. His international work includes collaborations with In Place of War, Tallinn Music Week, Trans Europe Halles, Dirty Deal Audio and Paavli Kulturivabrik, among others.
Today, Mark continues to develop international networks and produce events, tours and artist residencies, with a particular focus on cultural exchange and sustainable creative ecosystems. His work in Sicily has led him to explore the island’s music and cultural scenes, Mediterranean collaboration and circular economy models.
He is co-founder of AMARI, a network connecting rural artist residencies across the Mediterranean, and is currently developing an artist residency space in Sicily. Mark also works with Sicily Music Conference on internationalisation, contributing to the conference programme and annual showcases.
