Aberdeen Music Week 2026 is a flagship 4-day festival (September 9-12) designed to celebrate and integrate Aberdeen's creative talent into the UK's cultural landscape.
For too long, Aberdeen’s talent has been under-recognized. Despite a thriving community of producers, musicians, designers, and young creatives, there’s been little or no flagship moment to showcase their work, network with industry leaders, and access opportunities typically concentrated in cities like Glasgow, London, or abroad.
Aberdeen Music Week is more than a cultural gathering; it is a platform for creative economy growth, talent development, and international connection at a time when the UK creative industries are a major economic force, contributing £145.8bn to the economy in 2024 and growing faster than the wider UK economy.
