Aberdeen Music Week is returning in 2026, building on the energy, creativity and connections created during last year’s celebration of music and culture across the city of Aberdeen.
The 2025 edition brought together artists, audiences, industry professionals, cultural organisations and the wider community across multiple venues and a diverse programme of live performances, networking events, showcases and creative experiences. From live performances by Gerry Jablonski Band, DJ HomeAlone and Daisy Mack, Drumbz, Kayo and many more, to discussions featuring voices from across the creative industries, the event offered different perspectives on where Aberdeen’s creative scene is today and where it could go next.
More than a music event, Aberdeen Music Week creates a space for people to meet, exchange ideas, discover both emerging and established talent, and experience the many facets of Aberdeen’s creative community. Local and international perspectives come together creatively, while artists and industry professionals have the opportunity to connect with audiences and with one another.

In 2026, Aberdeen Music Week is taking that foundation further. This year’s programme will continue to celebrate the city’s emerging and established talent while creating more opportunities for connection, collaboration, learning and creative growth. With new artists, speakers, experiences and conversations on the way, Aberdeen Music Week 2026 is set to be another important moment for the city’s growing creative scene.
As part of this year’s objectives, Aberdeen Music Week will showcase the work of 50+ Aberdeen and North East Scotland artists, musicians and industry professionals, connecting them with audiences through a combination of in-person experiences and digital reach.
But growth isn’t simply about numbers. It’s about creating meaningful opportunities, bringing emerging and established talent into the same spaces, encouraging collaboration, opening conversations with industry, and making it easier for more people to participate in Aberdeen’s creative community.
