Caroline has held the role of Regional Organiser for Scotland and Northern Ireland at the MU for almost a decade, a role which combines her deep-rooted passion for music and unwavering commitment to advocating for musicians’ rights. Hailing from Glasgow, Caroline’s journey in music began with a lifelong love of both performing and listening to a diverse range of genres, an enthusiasm that has shaped her dynamic career.

She graduated in Commercial Music at Paisley University (now UWS), immersing herself in the industry at every opportunity from the outset. While studying, she gained hands-on experience by working at a wide range of music events and co-promoting a successful club residency at the iconic Sub Club.

Caroline went on to work in several renowned recording and rehearsal studios, gaining valuable insight into studio operations and event logistics. Her roles also included managing busy event services, which allowed her to develop extensive expertise in live production, tour management, and artist support.

She then joined Glasgow-based music management company No Half Measures, where she worked closely with established artists such as Wet Wet Wet and Hue and Cry, further honing her skills across artist management and development.

Key to Caroline’s work is providing crucial support to thousands of working musicians across all sectors of the industry, from live performance and recording to composition and music education.

Caroline is a tireless advocate for fair treatment, professional sustainability, and safe working environments and she is currently at the forefront of the push to ensure that the Scottish Government Fair Work commitments extend to working musicians. Her work is driven by a firm belief in protecting and empowering musicians, ensuring they can build lasting careers with dignity, respect, and creative freedom.
