Laura Harrington is the Programme Manager for SC&T Youth and Co-Festival Director of the North Atlantic Fiddle Convention (NAFCo). She also serves on the board of the Traditional Music Forum of Scotland, and SC&T, and is an active musician.

Growing up in Shetland, Laura has been immersed in traditional music from a young age and has built her career around music, culture and community. Her work is driven by a strong belief in collaboration, developing talent and creating opportunities that connect people and organisations.

Her experience spans music development, festival and event delivery, performance and partnership development, with a particular interest in supporting the next generation and strengthening the networks that enable Scotland’s traditional music sector to thrive.
