From afternoon cultural activities to an all-evening music takeover at Unit 51, we’re celebrating the soul of Aberdeen through live music, community energy, and creative expression. Cameron Stewart Grant
Cameron Stewart Grant is an artist from rural Aberdeenshire gaining a reputation for his captivating music and emotive performances. His debut single Dilate — written, produced, mixed, and designed from his DIY studio in Insch — received praise on BBC Radio Scotland and features on his debut EP The Very First Songs (July 2025). Cameron has been carefully building a fanbase with intimate shows across the Highlands and Islands, from underground bars to remote barbershops and recently played his debut headline show at Glasgow’s iconic Hug and Pint. He is currently working on a second EP drawing in more of his musical influences including jazz and reggae to further showcase his evolving sound and creative expression.

Callum Jones
Finding his feet with successful local band Hitlist, Callum has played in some of the best venues in the country, including the Beach Ballroom, St Luke’s, Sneaky Pete’s and the legendary King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow. He has also supported huge artists like The Snuts, The Sherlocks & Skylights. They also sold out Drummonds & Tunnels in their hometown of Aberdeen, which saw some unforgettable evenings for the band.

NEERØ NOIR
NEERØ NOIR is a technician of sonics that will illuminate your life! Born and raised (as Josh McLean) in Aberdeen, living in Glasgow, NEERØ takes you through a journey of relatable emotions through extensive sounds, lyrics and a unique style that will leave people in awe! “There’s a journey for everyone in my music, you get to fly through captured time.”

Daisy Mack
Daisy Mack is a young singer/songwriter from Aberdeen who writes indie folk-pop music. Her favourite part of songwriting is writing lyrics, and she tells stories through her songs, as well as using songwriting to figure out her emotions. In December 2024, she toured with Hit The Road, playing in Aberdeen, Dunfermline and Edinburgh, and headlining at The Tunnels in Aberdeen. Daisy is inspired by artists such as Taylor Swift, Lewis Capaldi and Noah Kahan. If you asked Daisy where she’s happiest, hunched over a guitar or a piano composing a song would definitely be up there!

BEACHGROVE
Beachgrove are a four-piece indie rock band with roots in guitar music, recently drifting into a more introspective, midwest emo-inspired sound. There’s been a big focus on writing new music lately, and we’re excited to take some of those tracks to the stage. Expect distorted guitar lines, big kit energy and a few surprises thrown in.

Vows
Vows formed during lockdown with a mission to fuse raw musical creativity and high-energy live performance. Known for their DIY ethos and emotionally changed sound, the band delivers unforgettable sets that hit hard and leave a lasting impression on any audience. Following the success of their debut album ‘What Makes Us Whole’, and its breakout single ‘Suffer(k)ing’, they have continued to grow with their latest release ‘The Day You Closed The Door’.

KAYO
KAYO, born and raised in the vibrant island of St. Lucia, is an artist, songwriter, DJ, and Creative Director who masterfully blends a spectrum of genres, including hip-hop, R&B, reggae, afro beats, house, and amapiano. His sound is a unique fusion of Caribbean roots and global influences, reflecting both his cultural heritage and his musical versatility. Whether crafting infectious party anthems or introspective ballads, KAYO’s music pulses with rhythmic complexity and a soulful authenticity that captivates listeners across borders.
At a pivotal moment in his career, KAYO moved from St. Lucia to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he
continued to evolve his artistry, immersing himself in the dynamic Canadian music scene. Since then, he has become a prominent voice for Caribbean music in North America, pushing the
boundaries of his craft while staying rooted in his island upbringing. Beyond his music, KAYO is also the creator and host of Soulstice Radio, a platform dedicated to showcasing emerging sounds and voices within the Afro-Caribbean diaspora. Through this platform, KAYO uplifts and connects artists, fostering a global community around a shared love for music. KAYO’s journey is a testament to his unwavering passion, versatility, and commitment to breaking barriers in the music industry, whether as a singer, producer, or curator of new sounds. His career continues to rise, with every release and performance adding to his legacy as one of the most exciting
artists to emerge from St. Lucia.

Moody Moody
Moody Moody are an alternative band weaving together shoegaze and dream pop textures to create alternative bangers. Songwriters Levi Kelman (vocals, guitar) and Jack Nisbet (guitar) craft the noisy sonic tapestry on guitars, while the rhythm section of Marc Culley (bass) and Phil Collingbourne (drums) lay down a warm backbone. Moody Moody take the swirling noise and distorted guitars of alternative genre, tempered with ethereal reverb and dark dreaminess. They aim to create shimmering soundscapes set on dark grey backdrops, reflecting of their home, Aberdeen – paired with storytelling the result is immersive and atmospheric, both live and on their records. For fans of The Cure, DIIV, Alvvways, and Slowdive.

Julian Thomson
Julian is a Scottish singer/songwriter who invites listeners on a journey of story and song, through Scotland’s valleys and glens. Rooted in the vast, rugged landscapes of the North East, his music reflects our deep connection to nature, offering a moment of stillness in an increasingly restless world. With over two decades of vocal experience, including early training with the National Youth Choir of Scotland, Julian draws from a wide range of musical traditions, inspired by artists such as Jenny Sturgeon, Eivør, and Ekaterina Shelehova. His music invites you to pause and will carry you to a land of dreams, mystery and quiet contemplation.

AY Bangz
Ay Bangz is a dynamic Nigerian-born artist making waves in the UK music scene with his infectious blend of RnB, soul, and contemporary sounds. Active since 2012,he has since gained media exposure on MTV Base, SoundCity, Trace, and BBC Scotland. Now based in Aberdeen, he’s performed at major events including the Tall Ships Festival, Be United emerging arts showcase, Resonate Scotland’s showcase. Known for his high-energy performances and captivating stage presence, Ay Bangz continues to champion African rhythms while connecting with diverse audiences, making him a standout act at the inaugural Aberdeen Music Week 2025.

Shannon Andrew
Shannon Andrew is a soulful singer-songwriter from Aberdeen, Scotland, blending R&B, pop, and acoustic soul into heartfelt, relatable songs. With a rich, emotive voice and captivating stage presence, she weaves personal stories into timeless melodies. Poised as one of Aberdeen’s rising talents, Shannon is building a growing following and making her mark on the Scottish music scene
